About FACE

The CII Jubilant Bhartia Food and Agriculture Centre of Excellence (FACE) has been advancing the transformation of India’s agrifood systems for over 14 years, making them more profitable, sustainable, and competitive. The Agriculture Vertical at CII FACE adopts a multi-stakeholder approach to build a competitive, resilient, and sustainable agribusiness ecosystem. Its work spans ease of doing business, farmer and FPO aggregation, enabling infrastructure, and the promotion of climate-smart and sustainable agriculture solutions.

The Animal Agriculture vertical focuses on designing special programs to enable small farmers to improve their capacity to go for high-value commercial activities in fisheries, animal husbandry, and dairying thus boosting growth in the sectors.

Mobilising Private Sector for LSFF Quality Adherence

CII-FACE’s Large-Scale Food Fortification initiative combines field insights, industry dialogue, and capacity building to strengthen fortification systems across India. By engaging manufacturers, premix suppliers, laboratories, and regulators, the programme enhances technical practices, testing credibility, and regulatory compliance across fortified food value chains.

Resilient Dairy Alliance

The Resilient Dairy Alliance (RDA) is a CII-FACE–EDF initiative advancing a climate-resilient, low-emission, and technology-enabled dairy ecosystem in India. Building on multi-state consultations, the Alliance brings together industry, research, and agri-tech stakeholders to drive productivity, scale proven solutions, and align dairy growth with climate and livelihood goals

Anti-Microbial Resistance Stewardship Drive 2025

CII-FACE’s AMR Stewardship Drive 2025 mobilises industry, regulators, veterinarians, and academia to combat antimicrobial resistance in animal agriculture. Building on evidence-based consultations and an industry-led roadmap, the initiative delivers nationwide training, awareness, and stewardship actions to safeguard animal health, food safety, and public health.

Dairy Investment Accelerator

CII-FACE’s Dairy Investment Accelerator (DIA) catalyses transformation in India’s dairy sector by combining farmer-centric innovations, capacity building, and investment facilitation. With a strong focus on women-led smallholders, DIA improves productivity, strengthens market access, and enables scalable, climate-resilient dairy growth across states.
